Things Women Do That Drive Men Crazy
A woman who knows what she wants in life and goes after it, can be incredibly attractive to men of all ages, so long as she doesn’t go overboard with the attitude and arrogance. Here are 10 things women do that drive men crazy—in a good way!
1) Open up more
We all know the stereotype that men are visual creatures. And while that may be true to some extent, it’s not the whole story. Sure, we love seeing you in a tight dress or low-cut top, but what we really crave is connection. We want to see the real you, not just your hot exterior. So open up more and let us in. We promise, we’ll appreciate it – and you – more than you know.
2) Compliment more
Who doesn’t love compliments? We all do. And while we may not always show it, men love them too. So don’t be afraid to give your man a compliment every now and then. It’ll make him feel appreciated and loved.
- We’re constantly testing the waters with you. Is he really into me? Does he still find me attractive? etc. A simple compliment can go a long way in reassuring us that you’re still into us.
- We get insecure too, you know. Just like you, we have our moments of self-doubt and insecurity. A kind word from you can really brighten our day and make us feel more confident.
3) Take directions more
When it comes to driving, men and women tend to have different approaches. Men are often more confident and self-assured, while women are more likely to take directions and heed advice. This difference can be a good thing, as it can help balance out the decision-making process. Women who take directions more often tend to be less impulsive and more careful, which can lead to fewer accidents.
4) Stop changing your hair color so much
I get it, you’re a woman and you like to change things up. But when you change your hair color every other week, it drives us crazy. We can’t keep up! Just pick a color and stick with it for awhile, please.
5) Get rid of your online dating profiles
If you’re in a committed relationship, it’s time to take down those online dating profiles. Seeing them can stir up feelings of jealousy and insecurity, even if you know there’s nothing going on. If your partner asks you to get rid of them, do it without hesitation. It’ll show that you’re fully committed to the relationship.
6) Stop making everything about you
We get it, you’re the center of your own universe. But sometimes, it’s nice to let someone else be the star. When you make everything about you, it gets old really fast. Instead, try listening more and talking less. It’ll make him feel appreciated and like he’s actually being heard.
7) Accept compliments graciously
Most of us have been told since we were little girls that it’s not polite to toot our own horn. So, when someone pays us a compliment, our first instinct is to downplay it or even brush it off completely. However, the next time your man tells you how beautiful you are, try responding with a simple thank you and see the difference it makes in his demeanor. Not only will he feel appreciated, but he’ll also be more likely to give you compliments in the future.
8) Stop saying you’re sorry for everything all the time
We’re socialized to believe that we need to apologize for taking up space, for having an opinion, and for just about everything else. But constantly saying I’m sorry can get old for your guy. Try to only apologize when you really mean it—not every time you brush his arm accidentally or speak your mind.
9) Let people see your vulnerable side more often
Vulnerability is often seen as a weakness, but in relationships, it can be one of the most attractive qualities in a partner. When you let your partner see your vulnerable side, it shows that you trust them enough to be honest with them about your fears and insecurities. It also allows them to feel closer to you and helps them understand you better. So don’t be afraid to let your guard down every once in awhile and show your partner the real you.
10) Ask for help when you need it
We know that you’re independent and capable, but sometimes you just need a little help. Asking for help shows that you trust us and value our opinion. Plus, it makes us feel needed and appreciated. We want to be your partner, not your servant, so don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it.
